Precise Calibration Services have been established in the field of calibration for over seven years, within various sectors of instrumentation. Inside the recently furbished, modern laboratories, advanced computer systems and calibrators are used to ensure maximum quality. Below summarises key features that P.C.S. Ltd offer:

  • Detailed certificates issued, with a service log and complete instrument details provided on a cover sheet

Turn Around

3 Day - Using collection and delivery service, P.C.S. Ltd offer a 3 Day turn around (in-house).

24 Hour - Ideal for customers who drop into our calibration house. Once instrument(s) are received, 24 hours later it will be calibrated with all relevant documentation generated.

1 Hour - P.C.S. Ltd realise the need for customers requiring their test equipment constantly. Therefore, a 1 hour turn around is offered to engineers that need a fast turn around at no extra cost. Within this time, all the benifits from a 3 day turn around are still available; the insturment is calibrated, along with any service required and documentation raised. N.B. This service is available by appointment only.

Documentation and labels

Key documentation raised and labels applied to instrument are:

  • I.D. Label - A barcode label contating all information about the instrument i.e. manufacturer, model number etc.
  • Accessory Label(s) - Individually applied to all accessories received, with reference to the instrument
  • Calibration Label - Calibration date, Calibration due date and certificate number are shown
  • Service Log - An on going account is given of the instrument, detailing every calibration/serivce undertaken by P.C.S. Ltd from first admittance
  • Calibration Certificate - Supplied in two parts. Firstly, a cover sheet is given with all instrument details along with an itemised list of all calibrators used and a signature of authenticity. Secondly, all calibration results are given, stating the applied value to the instrument, and the insturment reading along with tolerances.


Service

Within the cost of calibration, customers can benifit from the below services:

  • Replacement Batteries - All standard batteries that are too low in voltage are replaced before calibration is performed
  • Adjustments - On many occassions, instrument readings are outside the manufacturers specification. Therefore, adjusments are made to read within these specifications and results are given before and after any are made
  • Internal Service - Instruments and cleaned internally to remove any debris, whilst electronic switches are cleaned to ensure instrument works to its optimum
  • External Service - Prior to dispatch, all instruments are cleaned
